My main PvE is a Ranger, closing in on 7mil exp, in 22 months of lay he's the only PvE I've had to any extent (by that I mean the only one I've ever taken past lvl 16.

the other two PvE are merchants, I got them to the main sales towns, so they Mule and sell/buy.

3 of the PvP onlys have had a birthdays so far.

I'm really thinking of buying more slots though, I need a perminint PvP Warrior and Derv.

Tyris [Paragon] He will be my second "God Walking Among Meer Mortals" [if I ever get done with Theo.]

Kael [Warrior] he's close to becoming a mule...poor Kael...

I have one of each profession in PvE, 5 or 6 storage mules and a few PvP slots.

I figure the more time I play and understand the details of each profession the better my knowledge on how to kill them will be. Plus it's fun.

I have 5. The only ones I use are a monk (my main) and a necromancer. My ranger (first character ever made) is now a mule, and I don't think I've played as my other two since the day I first created them (They are a ritualist and another monk).

I used to have a PvP character, also a monk, but I ended up deleting her because I really don't like PvP.

Had 6 toons in prophesies - 6 fully leveled
Had 8 toons in factions - 8 fully leveled
Had 10 toons in nightfall - 4 fully leveled
Have 10 toons in gwen - 1 fully leveled, 2 half leveled.

I'd love to keep using all my toons, but sadly Anet keep upping the amount of work required to maintain a fully spec'd character. I'd be able to grind out the rep titles on more than 2 more toons.

Ok, I feel singled out because of this:

One PvE char. One. 25 months and counting too. The other 7 are PvP slots, but when the ability to save builds was implemented I didn't even need that.

How do you decide which one you want to play on a given day...?

My partner and I used to keep characters locked to other players. For example
When guildy A was online, We'd use character set A.
When guildy B was online, We'd use characters set B.
When guildy A and B were online, We'd use character set C.
... and so on.

They all did the same thing so we were alway up the the same points in the game and our quest logs were always in sync.

Of course <mandatory jab at rep grind> thanks to the introduction of grind skills and title effects this isn't possible anymore, because there aren't enough hours in the day to keep more get 2-3 characters fully leveled</madatory jab a rep grind>.

Depends, really. Sometimes I want to raise minions, sometimes I want to nuke or heal. I keep a ton of characters around so I can pretty much do whatever I'd like when I want.

14 characters: One of each profession+ 2nd ranger, second warrior, PVP necro and a pre searing character which I keep re-rolling.
Most actively played are my monk, ele, tyrian ranger, necromancer, sin [farmer]
second in line would be my Canthan warrior and ritualist.

OMG i have 57 characters and a few empty slots. They are all level 20 bar 4 of them. Across 5 accounts. Excessive you say. Well your damn right it is. I think I need help. 1 account was supposed to be purely for storage but then I started playing them and now they are mostly 20's as well. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi.. Your my only hope!
